Values

Your values are usually set up during childhood by your STANDARDS of living and your environment.  You are taught how to FEEL about what has a high or low value depending on what you have in comparison to others. This can show up in the way you show charity to others.

BASIC WANTS

We all want to be our personal best according to the values we were taught. Your childhood values can spill over into adulthood. This determines how you view life and what's most important to you.

WHAT WE ALL HAVE

We all have the freedom to choose the amount of worth something/someone means to us. This may look different from person to person.

BASIC NEEDS

We all need to feel like we are being treated equally and fairly in comparing ourselves to others for us to feel valued. However, most standards were set during childhood and need to be updated so that we feel valued with our current choices.

Ethics

We are born with STANDARDS which govern our belief system that control the RESPONSES we take when a situation arises. Our ethics are what we believe is right at the time. It's about becoming the best person you can be according to what you believe to be right.

BASIC WANTS

We would like to assume that everyone is born with the same ethical beliefs. We actually believe that our view of what is ethical will bring a balanced flow into the world. In fact, we lean towards people who have the same or similar views of what is right and wrong as our own. However, we must be aware that our ethical judgments are ever-changing according to our level of growth, wisdom, and understanding.

WHAT WE ALL HAVE

We all have the ability to evolve and grow which will show up differently for each person depending on their life experiences and choices in life. Therefore your view of integrity, honesty, faithfulness, compassion, justice, and so forth may shift over time depending on your personal life experiences and choices. Your priorities, what you concern yourself with, your process of growth, and your standards may even change.

BASIC NEEDS

We all have the need to feel validated ethically by the people in our inner circle. Your ethical views determine how you judge yourself and others. Pushing you to do what is right or ethical in your own eyes.

Spirituality

A higher connection to all living things great and small. A strong flow of LOVE of Goodness that surpasses a need for judgment. The ability to feel and work in HARMONY with the bigger picture for the goodness of all mankind.

BASIC WANTS

We all have a desire to work in a harmonious flow with everything around us. This gives us a special inner feeling of love, peace, and happiness. Doing your part or living out your purpose will enable you to feel this harmony and enjoy life in its totality.

WHAT WE ALL HAVE

We all have the ability to search within ourselves and feel if there is any blockage in that natural flow of spiritual energy. We can find peace, joy, and praise all good things that are done and created. This will look different for each person as we lose the need to judge and begin to grow in the need to love.

BASIC NEEDS

We all need to search out and include in our lives the people, places, and experiences that align with love so that we feel that we are connected and in harmony with the goodness of all mankind and every living thing around us. The need for us to send out the energy of LOVE is just as great as the need for us to receive it. Reciprocity is how everything in nature works at its best. This action creates the highest vibrations of energy and power moving and motivating life to continue.

Physical Health

According to the laws of nature, our bodies PERFORM best when we have a balanced level of our physical needs met. We treat ourselves according to the PRECEPTION we have for ourselves.

BASIC WANTS

We all want to be at our best physically. We take care of ourselves in a way that will achieve balance and health according to the physical laws of nature so that we can both feel good and look good. Mind, body, and soul.

WHAT WE ALL HAVE

We all have the ability to be resourceful and resilient. Your resourcefulness and resilience give you the power to get up and do what you need to do to get your physical needs met. We all have the ability to make choices about the people, places, and experiences we dwell on. We can choose to have positive or negative thoughts. It's our choice.

BASIC NEEDS

Without having these basic physical needs met; Clean food, water, clothing, shelter, enough sleep, good hygiene, physical movement, and interactions with others you will not thrive. In extreme cases, we will die.

Mental Health

Your mental health is essential for you to IDENTIFY what's going on around you and set boundaries which will enable you to effectively live a happy and fulfilled life.  It is the basis of how you choose to think and feel about the choices you make according to your BELIEF SYSTEM.

BASIC WANTS

We all want to be able to use our mental ability to help us achieve our goals, accomplish our purpose, and make well-informed decisions about our life choices. We also want to have healthy relationships with others while maintaining boundaries according to our belief system. This will enable us to live a happy and productive life.

What we all have

We all have the ability to recognize our triggers. Because we take that information in through our senses and process that information through our belief system we can learn how to set realistic boundaries. Therefore, enabling us to maintain control of our emotions and reactions.

Basic Needs

We all need a nonjudgemental space to express our deepest thoughts, and opinions and to sort out our emotions. This allows us to choose which thoughts, opinions and emotions are in line with our VESPM belief system and will help us stay focused on our goals and purpose.

"Boundaries are not the walls you use to block things from coming in and out. Boundaries are based on your V.E.S.P.M. health and to be used as the filters, monitoring the things coming in and out." -Tamika Russell
