The Self-Reflection Model
Jesus, a man known to be wise and full of knowledge and understanding often responded with questions when seeking information. He showed us that asking thought-provoking questions is a more effective way to help others. The fact is, even if a person's situation looks the same on the outside, because of our very unique and different levels of experience, there is no one-size-fits-all answer. In each session you will answer thought-provoking questions as they fit your particular situation, you will also be given some self-reflection points to help you unlock what is in your heart leading you to find your purpose.
Matthew 16: 13-17 “Who do YOU say I am?” & John 5:6 “Do YOU want to be healed?” -Holy Bible

The 5 Stages of Life
While on your journey you will have a rebirth into the person you were purposed to be by building a stronger foundation by going back and reshaping and understanding your 5 Stages of Life: (1) Childhood- Parental Guidance and, genetic urges (2) Adolescence- Welcoming in new ideas from others families, new information, environments, books, etc.(3) Adulthood- On the search for stable morals on how you plan to live your adult life (4) Maturity - Decides what makes sense to you and living in harmony with it and (5) Growth - The changes you make as you learn and grow in knowledge, understanding, and exposure. When we remain at this stage we can live our best life. We also have Regression - This process happens when you can no longer or refuse to learn new things

V.E.S.P.M.
V.E.S.P.M. is a newly developed system exclusively used in the 8 Cycles of Wellness program. V.E.S.P.M. represents your Values, Ethics, Spirituality, Physical, and Mental health. It is the center of the 8 CYCLES OF WELLNESS Program. V.E.S.P.M. was developed by Tamika M. Russell, CEO & Developer of the 8 Cycles of Wellness herself. Ms. Russell believes that if each person continues to develop their own personal V.E.S.P.M. Plan along with the use of the entire 8 Cycles of Wellness program the possibilities of living a wonderful life could be endless.
Your values are usually set up during childhood by your STANDARDS of living and your environment. You are taught how to FEEL about what has a high or low value depending on what you have in comparison to others. This can show up in the way you show charity to others.
We are born with STANDARDS which govern our belief system that control the RESPONSES we take when a situation arises. Our ethics are what we believe is right at the time. It's about becoming the best person you can be according to what you believe to be right.
A higher connection to all living things great and small. A strong flow of LOVE of Goodness that surpasses a need for judgment. The ability to feel and work in HARMONY with the bigger picture for the goodness of all mankind.
According to the laws of nature, our bodies PERFORM best when we have a balanced level of our physical needs met. We treat ourselves according to the PRECEPTION we have for ourselves.
Your mental health is essential for you to IDENTIFY what's going on around you and set boundaries which will enable you to effectively live a happy and fulfilled life. It is the basis of how you choose to think and feel about the choices you make according to your BELIEF SYSTEM.

Cognitive Behavioral Techniques
Each participant in the 8 Cycles of Wellness program will learn a higher way of thinking through Cognitive Behavioral Techniques (CBT). Cognitive Behavioral Techniques is derived from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Which is also called CBT. This is when you learn how to see a situation that is out of your control and review your belief system before reacting emotionally or physically to that situation.
What is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)?
Cognitive
The study of how humans think dates back to the time of ancient Greek philosophers Plato and Aristotle. Eventually, a formal field of study devoted solely to the study of cognition emerged as part of the "cognitive
revolution" of the 1960s. This field is known as cognitive psychology.
Behavior
How one acts or conducts oneself, especially toward others, or how a person acts in response to a particular situation or stimulus.
Therapy
Treatment that is intended to relieve or heal a disorder to build discernment and awareness.
Technique
How we carry out a particular task, especially a scientific procedure in a particular field. You are going to learn how to use your VESPM system to guide your choices.

Neuroplasticity
According to how the brain works we all can relearn or reorganize how we were thought to think in turn controlling how we feel, etc. This process is called Neuroplasticity. We can retrain our brains.
What is Neuroplasticity?
Neuroplasticity is proof that the CBT process works when put into practice. It is the process of retraining your brain. Neuroplasticity, also known as neural plasticity, or brain plasticity, is the ability of neural networks in the brain to change through growth and reorganization. Neuroplasticity is when the brain is rewired to function in some way that differs from how it previously functioned. Neuroplasticity is the ability of the brain to form and reorganize synaptic connections, especially in response to learning new information. This process continues throughout life if no major mishaps occur for example; the inability to learn.
